Royal Ostend Golf Club ( Belgium )
Great Linkscourse. I've played here several times about 20 years ago and with the latest changes that have been done to the course over the last 3 years.....it's even more looking like the typical scottish linkscourses, a bit like Carnoustie if you ask me. I came with a group of friends during august. The weather was great, but the wind was gusting from the sea which made it the toughest course I ever played this far. We played the course two days in a row and had more luck the next day, which made me shoot 7 over par and win our 'Friendship Trophy' this year. You certainly need to watch out on the holes 5 to 10 which are along the sea. Try to enjoy the magnificent views on the tees of 6th, 7th and most of all the 8th tee were you are standing at the highest point of the course. Friendly reception, locker and shower room needs to be refreshed, and will be done soon I heared. Very nice dinner whilst overlooking the first 4 holes. For us the best Course in Belgium. Be aware, you need to be a good skilled golfer to master this golfcourse. It's not really long, but to make a good score you absolutely need to avoid the knee high rough!!! In the best case you will find your bal.

Great course and a fantastic club house.
De Palingbeek Golf & Countryclub ( Belgium )
a very nice well-maintained course, with a friendly atmosphere. Several beautiful views to enjoy, such as the n°8 approach and green, the n°3 hole, and of course the 18.

The course has been constructed without any permit.
May we point out that this course has been constructed without any permit.
The Belgian provincial authorities decided to remove the course from the list of golf clubs because it has been constructed illegally.
The the Flemish and the municipal authorities have opened a law suit against the club and are asking the courss to close the club down.
The course is not a credit to the golf sport
L'Empereur Golf Club
Empereur Golf ( Belgium )
L'Empereur is known affectionately as « the golf at the end of the world ». Situated just twenty kilometers from Brussels, quite near the Lion's Mound at Waterloo, this far corner of the world offers a total change of environment, where nature remains undisturbed and the silence is golden
